The Ecomuseo of Bicorp is one of the most ambitious projects in which the Museu Valencià d'Etnologia is participating. It involves the comprehensive management of the municipality's heritage, aiming to collaborate in the sustainable growth of this town in La Canal de Navarrés region.

In the first phase, the museum carried out an inventory of Bicorp's heritage, drafted the project and organised information sessions and technical conferences to explain the scope of this action.

The first of the main actions of the project was the creation of the Centro de Interpretación del Patrimonio [Heritage Information Centre], whose function is to act as the core of the Ecomuseo, from which all the planned activities will be coordinated: routes, workshops, exhibitions and guided tours. In addition, an exhibition offers all the necessary information to better understand the rich and varied heritage elements of Bicorp.
