The Museo de la Casa del Pozo is a space for disseminating Llosa de Ranes cultural heritage which, after a project of reconstruction, has regained and renewed the message of the old museum located in this same building.

With a new museographic approach, the centre shows the most recent history of this municipality of La Costera through part of the life history of its inhabitants, who have provided testimonies, objects and photographs to build this new space where Llosa’s inhabitants can participate, be recognised and also be presented to the world through their traditions and uniqueness as a people. The museum presents the most important socio-cultural landmarks and the main elements of its territory. An itinerary that displays life and social cycles, the importance of the Paris neighbourhood, the singularity of the “danza del velatorio” [dance of the wake], the town’s fountains, or Santa Anna hermitage with its pilgrimage.

The intention of Casa del Pou is to become a live participative space; it has a temporary exhibition hall and space where residents can contribute their objects to expand the Llosa de Ranes heritage collection.
