This was the Museu Valencià d'Etnologia’s first action in a local museum. The town hall had managed to put together an important ethnographic collection and deemed it appropriate to put it on display in a permanent exhibition. The exhibition is located in a refurbished building that has two distinct sections: the old barber's house and the winepress. The task of the museum consisted in setting up the exhibit, selecting the objects and their thematic grouping, installing display cases and platforms, and producing a graphic support based on drawings, photographs and texts. In the winepress, there was a special installation to explain the traditional winemaking process, which used to be very widespread in the town.
