This mill, restored by the Quartell town hall, is an interesting example of a facility dedicated to the crushing of wheat and rice. The restoration of the machinery was carried out in such a way that some of its parts can be seen in operation, which makes the visit a particularly attractive experience. This is complemented by a trail — the Ruta de l'Aigua [Water Route] — which, departing from Font de Quart, the source of the water that moves the mill, allows us to get to know its traditional uses as far as the marshland area. The Museu Valencià d'Etnologia gives constant advice and prepares new graphic material to help visitors understand the complex operation of the mill and its immediate surroundings.
