The collaboration with this museum dates back to the time of its creation since the Museu Valencià d'Etnologia participated in the drafting and execution of the museological project. The main part of the permanent exhibition is dedicated to showing various aspects of the Festa de la Mare de Déu de la Salut, declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO. A second part is dedicated to showing some of the numerous festivals that are celebrated in the Valencian territory. In addition, both museums developed a specific database focused on collecting all the Valencian festivals.
Another outstanding example of collaboration has been the co-production of a touring exhibition about the most important Valencian festivals (Festes Valencianes), which toured several cities in Ukraine and Russia between 2005 and 2008 with considerable success. The photographic part of this exhibition is currently touring several towns in the Valencia province.
